Cindy Olsofka

Nature and art have always been in harmony throughout Cindy’s life dating back to her years at camp, in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin. She learned the beauty of nature through art with a flavor of individual creativity. At the age of ten she started oil painting classes at a nearby studio in her town; later, she attended the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Wisconsin, where she studied Art History and Chemistry. Her initial plan was to work in art restoration, however there wasn’t any work to be found.
Her husband Frank and her retired to the Northwoods and reside in Harshaw, Wisconsin. During the lengthy winters, she finds the time to work in oil pastel, watercolor pencil and pen and ink. She can be contacted at 715-277-4574 or cj588@frontiernet.net
